PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS

Occasionally a Phase I ESA reveals Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) that require an intrusive environmental assessment in order to confirm the presence or absence of contamination on a property. It may also be necessary to delineate the extent of soil and/or groundwater contamination, if contamination is determined to be present on a property. This is the purpose of a Phase II ESA.
